Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Pressed Powder #1 “Pale Yellow”: Swatches & Review
I don’t really use pressed powder, may be occasionally. Usually I prefer loose powder because it gives better, lively coverage, even thought it inconvenient to carry an additional mirro and a brush. Still I try something from pressed powder range and one of the good ones is Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Pressed Powder.
Availability: at Bobbi Brown counters and online.
Price: 34$ for 11 gr (US).
Limited edition? No.
Final Thoughts: This powder hasn’t turned me away from my favorite loose powder. Though I must admit that it is very nice — sheer lasting color, noticeable mattifying effect, silky to the touch. It can be used when you need to hide minor discoloration or make your face color more even. It is definitely lighter than compact foundations, but not as light as loose powder veils. I still don’t use a sponge to apply the powder, but my round brush for pressed powder instead to get light effect. The box is convenient and you don’t need an extra mirror.
Please, read my review in Russian for maximum details on the product. Color detailes and images are given below.
#1 Pale Yellow — is more of light cream than yellow, so don’t be afraid. The color is very light and I could get good swatches of it. But I’ve used this powder in some of my recent posts (please, review this post or this one), sa well as Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit for under eye area.
