Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye
One of the best skincare products I’ve bought las year was Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate (review is in Russian only for now). It really did miracles with my skin and I continue to use it with some breaks. It’s natural that as soon as I found the brand launched something similar for eyes, I’ve put the product on my shopping list. So today I can tell whether I’m happy or not with Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye.
Midnight Recovery Eye is not that oily thing you got as MRC for face, but a cream. This cream is rich with promises — skin firming, reducing fine lines, puffiness and dark circles. The web site says «younger-looking by morning». I took this statement literally because I did have very good results with MRC on my face even after the first usage.
So what have I got? Ok, my skin is moisturized well enough, but that’s it. None of those promises about reducing fine lines, dark circles and puffiness came true. Luckily I don’t have big problems with the latest, but I haven’t seen any improvements due t this cream to my small and occasional puffs. The texture is rich, may be a bit too reach for me, but the product absorbs quickly. I’ve found that some of my concealers don’t look good over the cream, but this was rather few specifics cases. Ingredients list is good, though you will find some alcohol not that far from the beginning of the list. And I hope you’re not allergic to something specific.

Final Thoughts: I think this product works like average moisturizer for under eye area. It is not bad at all, but I was very disappointed, because the high level of expectations. I thought I would see some miracle or very good and quickly noticeable results like I did with Midnight Recovery Concentrate. But I didn’t. And as I do know products that works better on myself, I would come back to this one. Though I still admire Kiel’s MRC and the brand.
