Givenchy Le Prisme Yeux Mono #20 Or Celeste Holiday 2011: Swatches & Review
Are you already planning beauty shopping from spring 2012 collections? Or may be you still want to check few things from current Christmas? In latest case you can be interest to read a review of Givenchy Le Prisme Yeux Mono #20 Or Celeste from Holiday 2011.
Givenchy Le Prisme Yeux Mono — is actually a kind of eye quad with similar color, but in 4 different finishes — matt, 2 shimmering shadows with a bit different amount of pigment and shimmer and the fourth is something with more shimmer of bigger size. The size is like average mono-shadows have and thus it’s not really convenient to grab separate color. The properties of each part of this quad are individual — some are A+ and the other C-.
#20 Or Celeste is a shadow of soft golden color in four different finishes. The difference between two pistires above is that the first was taken in daylight and the second is macro with flash. I would say that it is not that warm as in the second picture, but I’m not as good with Photoshop to correct it properly.
1 — matt and dusty yellow shade is the worst part of this quad. It has very poor pigmentation, it’s hard to apply and it will fade away quite fast.
2 and 3 — are similar in color shimmering shadows, the better ones in application and longevity. The difference is in color payoff and shimmer, the third has more of both and is the best part of this Mono Prisme.
4 — is a bit strange shade. It is still not a glitter, still the shimmer in this one is big, a little bit too big. And it has less pigment than previous one.
Availability: at Givenchy counters starting November.
Price: 29$ for 3.4 gr/0.12 oz.
Limited Edition? Yes.
Any Dupes? Inglot AMC Shine #105 is a dupe for 2nd and 3rd quater (upper half), color payoff is closer to 3rd part, even a bit better.
Final Thoughts: nice gold shadows, good for Holidays and gold-lovers, but nothing special. The thing the spoil this Momo Prisme a lot is matt yellow color, that is dusty and has bad quality. Exclude this part and I would honestly approve this eyeshadow.
