TEMPTU Retouch Highlighter #301 Champagne: Swatches & Review
I don’t really like highlighters and any other face products with shimmer, because I don’t like to shine as much as those products suggests. Still there’s one liquid highlighter that I like a lot — TEMPTU Retouch Highlighter.
TEMPTU — in brief is a brand for profession makeup and body-art artistis. It is famous for its AIRbrush Makeup System, but it also has products that you can take with you and use without airbrush. My original post in Russian (please, see link at the top of this post) has more details about the brand, how I’ve found it and what I’ve purchased. Now I want to go directly to the products description.
Retouch Highlighter is a liquid highlighter in a brush:
+ very fine shimmer that gives delicate glow to your face;
+ sheer coverage;
+ applies easily and very blendable;
+ last for almost all the day long;
+ you can wear it alone and mix a bit in foundation to add delicate glow to your face;
— it is not really convenient to wash the brush;
Ingredients: Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclomethicone, Isododecane, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Dimethicone, Talc, Butylene Glycol, Peg/Ppg-18/18 Dimethicone, Sodium Chloride, Fragrance, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Polyethylene, Silica, Propylene Glycol, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Sd Alcohol 40, Diazolidinyl Urea, Propylparaben, Methylparaben, May Contain: Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Mica (CI 77019), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, 77492, 77499), Carmine (CI 75470).
#301 Champagne — light soft champagne, rather warm, but good for both cool and warm complexions. Due to its sheer coverage and silk finish give very beautiful glow to your face/ I usually apply it on my cheekbones, eyelids or mix with foundation.
Availability: Sephora (US), at TEMPTU or TENPTUPro
Price: 40$ for 18 ml
Final Thoughts: I love this liquid highlighter for its sheer texture, delicate shimmer and easy usage. The only drawback for me is it’s price in combination with fact that it’s not sold in my country and rarely shipped from online stores. Also I don’t like when liquid or creamy product is inside the brush, because it’s harder to wash it.
