Clinique Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer
This year I’ve really enjoyed experience with Clinique products. I feel I’m on my way to instant skin improvements. Even if some products very just «good enough» or even «not that good», I still have several which I repeated and hope to do so. Moreover, I’ve found myself tracking all the skin care news of the brand. One of the product I’ve bought recently (I suppose I’ll do this again) is Clinique Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer.
I have my sad story about night creams: either they don’t do what I need and I feel lack of moisture in the morning, or they have heavy texture and don’t absorb properly, so my skin looks like pancake after I wake up. The only night products that make me feel comfortable are Clinique Super Rescue Antioxidant Night Moisturizer and Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate. So I’ve hoped for the best and decided to go for new Clinique night cream. And to say the truth I like its promo 🙂
This cream should work not only as regular moisturizer, but as a treatment that improves your skinone and gives your skin instant radiance and renewed look. This product has a bunch of interesting ingredients that acts like soft peeling and moisturizeres, e.g. Salicylic Acid in Salisome Time Release Delivery System, Chestnut Seed Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydroxyethyl Urea and others. You can read more about innovations following this link. Cream should be suitable for dry to combination skin types. I’m not as dedicated to ingredients investigations as curious blogger should be, still looking at the box bottom and in Google convinced me, this should be something good. And it really is!
+ light texture, absorbs quickly;
+ moisturizing effect is visible starting right from the first usage;
+ skin feels very soft;
+ with time I see overal skin tone improvement, my skin becomes lighter and more radiant;
I wish I could have found any disappointing thing to tell, but I haven’t. This time I even like the packaging which is not that usual plastic as brand always does.
I will still keep my favorite Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate, especially for cold times. I think both products are great, but for me the latest is richer and more nourishing, helps to treat imperfections and little scars (not old, but ones that still hurt). While Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer works more for skin tone and skin renewing and doesn’t have this oily texture that may not be suitable for everybody (as well as blend of oils in MRC).
Availability: as at Clinique counters.
Price: 44.50$ for 50 ml.
Final Thoughts: it’s a good lightweight night cream, that provides you reasonable amount of moisture while improving your skin tone and gives it an instant glow. I think it will be good for all skin types, except of extra dry and oily. Please see above my thoughts about this product vs. famous Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate.
