Estee Lauder Pure Color Nail Lacquer #17 Fuchsia Flame
I haven’t made any nails polishes reviews for a while. So today is a new Estee Lauder Pure Color Nail Laquer #17 Fuchsia Flame. Estee Lauder not only new lipsticks this year, but also nice stuff for your nails. They give eight shades in the rage (plus some limited editions, seasonal) and a top coat. We’re a promised to get rich, long lasting color, that is applied easily.
I would say for me I got 2 out of 3 promises:
+ color: it is very rich, you can find creamy colors and colors with fine shimmer. All shades have glossy finish, you may not need a top coat for it, although with the top coat it would last longer and the color won’t be dull with time;
+ easy to use: applies nicely, convenient brush;
— no so long lasting: lasted for about 2 days, may be a little more depending on the base coat I use;
— doesn’t dry fast: you can move around after few minutes still you can accidentally spoil your manicure a while after.
Fuchsia Flame #17 — is a very pure, bright color, good for summer, rather raspberry than fucsia. It’s a little bit different on nails — more raspberry, than in the bottle — more fucsia. I usually apply only one coat, but did two for swatches.
Estee Lauder Pure Color Nail Laquer #17 Fuchsia Flame, 2 coats, no top coat.
Availability: at Estee Lauder counters.
Price: 19$ for 9 ml.
Limited Edition? No.
Summary: this is a good nail polish — it applies nicely, has a good coverage and glossy finish, though it dries a little longer then I’d like it to. All the shadows in the range are very basic and you can easily find similar color in other brands. Anyway I was pleasantly surprised with the quality because in my experience it wasn’t so good in polishes fron other luxury brands.
Did you like it?
